Vaishnavi Dhanraj born 25 August 1988 is an Indian television actress. She is mainly recognized for her role Jhanvi in colors popular serial Na Aana Iss Desh Laado. She has appeared in many awards shows, and has participated in the reality show Kitchen Champion. She was last seen in the the role of Riya in Mahabharat which aired on Star Plus.

Education

She did schooling from Blind Relief Association's Mundle High School.[4] After she graduated from Shivaji Science College, her family shifted to Kalyan in 2008. Vaishnavi's parents encouraged her artistic inclination and escorted her to her initial auditions.

Acting Career

Vaishnavi started her acting career in 2008 with a cameo in Balaji Telefilms's 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'. After that she was seen as Aastha in daily soap Karam Apnaa Apnaa. Her character of Tasha from Sony tv's popular and long-running show C.I.D is well appreciated by the viewers which brought her fame and popularity. She had bagged the leaed role of Jhanvi in colors Na Aana Iss Desh Laado where she played one of the two grown-up daughters of Sia (Natasha Sharma).

She has also acted in episodic shows including Kitchen Champion 4, ndia's Got Talent, Crime Patrol, Hum Ne Li Hai- Shapath and Fear Files. Currently, she is seen in the daily series Begusarai which airs on &TV. Vaishnavi is seen essaying the parallel lead in the show Begu Sarai. The story is based on the backdrop of Bihar and its not a family drama but something similar to the movie Paansigh Tomar. In Mahabharat she played the character of Hidimba who falls in love with Bheem in the mythological show Mahabharat on Star Plus TV.
